Research Progress of Correlation Between CORO1B Gene and Tumor

Abstract: The protein encoded by Coronin 1B(CORO1B)gene is an actin-binding protein,the serine-2 residue of which can be phosphorylated by protein kinase C(PKC)to regulate the polymerization and depolymerization of actin,thereby participating in many important pathological and physiological processes,like cytoskeletal reorganization,cell motility,migration,and metastasis.Numerous studies have also found that the CORO1B gene is associated with the occurrence and development of various types of tumors.This article reviews the research progress on the relationship between the CORO1B gene and tumors.
